Fable Forest Films Fall Classic golf tournament is an exciting yearly event to remember, working with local businesses and the regions golfers who LOVE a great time, to support student filmmakers.

The 2024 event is being held on October 5th at Kitchener’s Rockway Golf. A day of friendly competition, networking, and fun. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or a novice, this tournament is open to all and participation helps nurture the next generation of filmmakers.

Our tournament is more than just a game; it’s a tribute to our superfan, the late, great Kenny Green!  Jay’s dad Ken was a huge supporter of the Fable Forest team on and off set! He and Jay would often talk about the dream of having a tournament where actors and filmmakers would join the public for a great day of golf! He helped inspire the tournament format and the trophy symbolizes the spirit of competition and camaraderie that Kenny envisioned. Our team, honor his legacy and work to make this event a success every year. Join us in celebrating Kenny’s passion for golf, filmmaking, and family!

Our mission is to provide financial support to student filmmakers, enabling them to bring their creative visions to life.

The Fable Forest Film Fund, fueled by events like our golf tournament and F4 (our film festival launching in 2024), ensures that some students will have the resources they need to succeed.
